Class Update for Monday, April 27, 2020

Here is today’s video update…

Here is the email I sent out to deliver the link to this video, hopefully this helps in my quest for a Nobel Prize in Literature.

Hello again everyone.  The directions for today have already gone out, but I wanted to send out this video update…I made some espresso, which is not my regular decaf, so I am a bit wound up and need to divert the extra energy in a positive way…the espresso is for the “Social Distancing Activities with Mr. Sal Series” that for some reason was labeled Wacky Wednesdays by Mr. Budacki…but I digress…sorry…I will blame it on the espresso…where was I…oh…this stream of consciousness typing is a bit confusing, but it won William Faulkner a Nobel Prize for Literature…tell me what year that was and you will win a prize from the Mr. Sal Bucket/Bag-o-Prizes next time we are back in the building…I will keep track of names…I did stock on prizes at the last conference I attended…and we are lost again…umm…OH!  the class video update can be found here:  https://mrsal.edublogs.org/2020/04/27/class-update-for-monday-april-27-2020/

Just to wreak havoc, ask your English teacher if you know when William Faulkner won a Nobel Prize for Literature, can you get extra credit or a classwork pass…I went down that Rabbit Hole because I am reading one of his books and his stream of consciousness style annoys me…but I cannot, not finish the book since I started it…that is just one of my many idiosyncrasies, so I researched Mr. Faulkner some more and my research showed he won a Nobel Prize for the stream of consciousness style…maybe he was an espresso drinker too…I doubt I will win a prize for that style of writing with this email, but one can always dream…

If you are interested in extra credit, pay attention to that video there is an extra credit opportunity embedded in there somewhere…
Sincerely,
Mr. Sal
